J Boog kicks off month of June in New Zealand with RaggaMuffin Road Trip
The month of June promises to be a busy and exciting month for J Boog. The world music sensation continues his Backyard Boogie World Tour this month, with appearances worldwide. June kicks off in New Zealand for the RaggaMuffin Road Trip, a mini-tour featuring J Boog, Fiji, Peetah Morgan of Morgan Heritage, and others. The first stop is technically in May, with a show at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre in Manukau, NZ. June 1st the tour travels to Christchurch, New Zealand for a performance at The Bedford. June 2nd will be at the Te Rauparaha Arena in Wellington, New Zealand, and June 3rd will feature a performance at the Hawkes Bay Opera House in Hastings, New Zealand. The RaggaMuffin Road Trip travels concludes June 4th in Rotorua, New Zealand, with a performance at the Energy Events Centre, Rotorua.
From New Zealand, the mini-tour featuring J Boog, Fiji, Peetah Morgan of Morgan Heritage and others heads to Australia. Thursday June 7th there will be a concert at the Prince Bandroom in Melbourne, Australia. Friday June 8th there will be a show at Fitzy’s in Brisbane, Australia. Saturday June 9th the mini-tour heads to Brothers in Cairns, Australia. The Australian leg of the tour ends in Sydney Sunday June 10th at the Enmore Theatre.
From Australia, the Backyard Boogie World Tour heads back to the United States continues Friday June 15th with a show at 4th&B in San Diego, CA. The following evening, Saturday June 16th, the tour makes a one-night stop in Las Vegas for Reggae In The Dessert with Kymani Marley, Third World, Fiji, Israel Vibration, Tribal Seeds, Pato Banton, & the Fortunate Youth at the Clark County Government Amphitheater. The following evening, Sunday June 17th, the tour returns to California for a show at The Observatory in Santa Ana.
Tuesday June 19th, J Boog and the Backyard Boogie World Tour returns to The Catalyst in Santa Cruz, California. Thursday June 21st, the tour returns to The Majestic Ventura Theater in Ventura, California. The following day, June 22nd, J Boog will be part of the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival in Boonville, California. That Saturday, June 23rd, the Backyard Boogie Tour heads to Napa, California for a performance at the Uptown Theatre Napa.
The following week features additional California dates, including Wednesday June 27th at The Mystic Theatre in Petaluma, CA, and back-to-back dates Thursday June 28th & Friday June 29th at Club Mezzanine in San Francisco, CA. The month ends back in Nevada for a performance at the Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival along with Pepper, Katchafire, & The Hot Rain Band June 30th.
