The Resolvers Big Band Reggae Available Exclusively at Live Shows!
The Resolvers forthcoming release, “Big Band Reggae” will be officially available at all live shows starting tonight in Miami, where the band plays the Stage in Miami as part of an Aura Music Festival Pre-party. “The sound and mentality is a mix between roots reggae and funky, party music,” says Resolvers guitarist Ron Eisner. “A mix between Jamaica and New Orleans.”
Fans will have to go out to live shows to pick up the new album for the first month, since the album won’t be available digitally until March 20th 2012. “We wanted to reward the people who come out to the shows and experience the music with the band LIVE” shares Mango Music Management’s David Broderick. The release was produced by Mango Music Management and The Resolvers. It is being released on RSLV Records, while being distributed by Empire Distribution.
Fans hoping to pick up the album before it drops online will have plenty of opportunities to do so. This weekend, the band plays Sunday on the main stage of the city of Deerfield Beach’s Founder’s Day Celebration, while next week the band departs on a mini-tour throughout Florida, including an evening in Sebastian supporting Stephen Marley. The band also has a weekly residency at the Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton each Wednesday night.
